 Infrared Sauna

How does an infrared sauna work?

Instead of conventional heat, infrared saunas emit infrared light waves to warm your body, without heating the surrounding air.  These light waves easily penetrate human tissue which then raises your temperature, causing you to sweat.  Through sweating detoxification occurs.

Do Infrared Saunas emit EMF?

Electromotive force (EMF) is not to be confused with Infrared.
Every electronic device emits some level of EMF - at home or in the office.
Infrared saunas emit infrared radiant heat.  These waves are similar to sun rays which naturally penetrate and heat your body.
Saunas emit an ultra low EMF which means no danger can result from constant usage.

How soon will I receive my sauna after purchase?

We offer same day shipping providing you place your order before midday during normal business hours.
Any orders placed after midday during the week will be shipped the following business day.
Orders made on a weekend will be shipped Monday.

How is the sauna packaged?

Saunas consist of wooden panels that are contained in cardboard boxes.  These boxes are then are palletized to safeguard against damage during transport.  Once removed from the pallet, the boxes can fit through any door wider than 24”.

Is the sauna pre-assembled?

No. Infrared saunas require assembly once they are delivered to your chosen location.  The sauna panels arrive in cardboard boxes which will need to be fastened with screws and metal latches.

What is the assembly time of the sauna?

Typically, it will take one hour for two people to assemble the sauna.  Please refer to the assembly instructions inside the box.

Do I need any special tools to assemble the sauna?

No.  All you need is a Phillip’s head screwdriver, or an electric drill with a Phillip’s head screwdriver bit.

What voltage does the unit run on?

Infrared  Saunas utilize UL listed plugs to ensure safety standards are met.  The saunas operate on 110 volts.  Some of the larger models call for a non-standard 20-amp outlet with a 20-amp circuit.

Can I place the sauna on the second floor?

Yes.  As the majority of saunas weigh between 300-400 lbs it is safe to put a sauna on the second floor.

Can I use the sauna outdoors?

Depends. Infrared saunas are for indoor use only, unless they are specifically listed as an outdoor model.

How do I clean the sauna?

  • Disconnect the sauna from the outlet and allow to cool down.
  • Mix 3 teaspoons of baking soda to one gallon of warm water. Using a small towel or rag, wipe down the inside of the sauna with mixture.
  • Wipe away the baking soda residue with a damp, clean towel or rag. Let dry.
  • The glass can be cleaned with a store-bought glass cleaner.
  • For outdoor saunas, simply use your garden house on a low setting to spray the inside of the sauna. Leave the door open to ensure it dries completely before usage.

How often do I need to clean the sauna?

We recommend cleaning your sauna once every six months, or more often if you use the sauna frequently.  Reduce how often you need to clean your sauna by sitting on a towel which will absorb most of the sweat.
